A NEW MINI…FOR A NEW MINI CLASS

The 2020 Mini Rookie is Tony Kart’s answer to the first homologation reserved to the new international Mini CIK-FIA class, result of an intense combined work by the R&D department of the OTK Kart Group and the Tony Kart Racing Team, engaged in testing and developing the material on the main circuits, both in Italy and abroad, with several models of tyres. The goal is to provide all young kart drivers with the best compromise to guarantee top performances and, at the same time, great ease of drive and adjustment of the kart.

RACING TEAM KNOW-HOW

Compared to the previous model, the frame of the 2020 Mini Rookie has gone through a few technical changes resulting from the adaptation to the new regulation for minikart. The innovations concern both the materials used and geometries, but also some components. The most evident change is the new adjustable footrest system, useful for adapting the driving position to the different drivers’ heights in this category. Besides this, we are introducing also a new pedals fixing system, which allows a rapid mounting of the rudder pedals, directly constrained to the pedal supports welded to the frame, increasing the stiffness and safety.

Aluminium machined components. Supplied with eccentric washers allowing the camber and caster adjustment and equipped with alcantara steering wheel and 3 litre fuel tank.
