PERFORMANCE AND QUALITY AT THE HIGHEST LEVEL

The Krypton range is renewed with the arrival of the 801R model. The new chassis features various technological evolutions in the components, born from the indications of the Tony Kart Racing Team and developed within the R&D department of the OTK Kart Group. The new M7 spoiler, the steering wheel with high grip handle and the integral floor stand out. On the other hand, the geometry of the body remains unchanged, entirely made up of 32 mm diameter tubes.

 

PLANNING THE VICTORY

The new Krypton 801R takes up the challenge of evolution launched by the main Tony Kart chassis, the Racer, and makes it its own, faithfully following the concepts that have been at the basis of the project for years. The only, substantial difference between Racer and Krypton is in the diameter of the molybdenum chromium steel tubes that make up the body: Ø 32 for the Krypton, Ø 30 for the Racer. Improvements and evolutions, on the other hand, are the same, starting with the steering wheel with high grip handle and inclined hub for total driving comfort; the integral floor that improves the aerodynamic Cx and the futuristic M7 number plate spoiler supplied as standard together with the new graphics. The structure and geometry of the body remain unchanged compared to the past. Just as the very high quality of the raw materials do not change; the attention to detail guaranteed by the use of technologically advanced machinery; constant development fueled by the experiences of the Tony Kart Racing Team on the most important racing fields in the world.

 

BRAKES AT THE TOP

The Krypton 801R is equipped, for the single-speed categories, with the same braking system which proved to be absolutely reliable and performing on the previous 801S model: the BSD. The rear brake caliper is forged in a single piece and characterized by the presence of 2 Ø 34.5 mm pistons, with stroke recovery, combined with evolution brake pipes and DOT 5.1 oil. The material of the calipers and brake pumps is Ergal, chosen for its particular mechanical resistance properties, which in turn is increased by the hard oxidation process, which serves to minimize wear on the moving components. The entire system is the result of the development carried out on the basis of the indications of the Official Racing Team Tony Kart, which uses it in the most severe and probative conditions possible,
